Consonni

consonni is a publishing house with an independent cultural space in the San Francisco neighbourhood of Bilbao. Since 1996 they have been producing critical culture and are currently committed to the written word as well as the whispered, heard, silenced, declaimed word; the word made action, made body.

Written in small letters and in constant mutation, consonni is an androgynous and polycephalic creature, with feminisms and listening as its superpowers. They play with short distances. Based on the social and solidarity economy and a community of proximity, they support and amplify local and international creative talent.
