Editora Madalena

Created in 2013, Editora Madalena was born with the desire to experiment and support the contemporary creation of photobooks, especially in the Brazilian and Latin American context.
Our editors’ careers are closely linked to contemporary photography, whether as photographers, curators or thinkers. Their projects seek to work creatively on publishing, both in content and form, through a constant search for visual languages and narratives, while opening up a space to think about new graphic possibilities that bring the book-object closer to its content.
The result has been well received by artists and critics around the world, thus creating an international dialogue focused on the constant dissemination of the book and on the collaboration with new projects.
