Ediciones Akal

The history of Ediciones Akal begins in 1972. In its forty years of existence it has formed a catalog of more than three thousand titles organized in nearly forty collections that cover all the fields of the humanities, from art to politics, passing through history, anthropology, philosophy, cinema or music. In addition to this, it publishes classical texts (from classical Greece to the 19th century) and collections of contemporary literature, as well as a complete collection of dictionaries. Recently it has added to its catalog two collections of astronomy and popular science.
