La Panera

La Panera Art Centre is a platform for the production and dissemination of contemporary visual arts, which exceeds exhibition boundaries and inhabits an intersection between research, creation, education and public programmes, as well as producing art projects in a wide arrange of contexts, from schools to healthcare centres or community services.
La Panera is committed to the creation of territory, it both reflects and articulates a critical culture and opens spaces of exchange rooted in the different interests which traverse the local sphere, with the ultimate aim to promote the creation of links between its own projects and the global art scene. It constructs a form of present time which exceeds the single and hegemonic narrative of contemporaneity, crafted at the crossroads between the past, to which it refers back on, and the future, to which it looks forward to.
