Artificial intelligence, automatic learning, surveillance technologies, predictive algorithms: for several decades the vigorous advance of cybernetics has established the triumph of a techno-scientific conception of the world. The automation of digital machines no longer seems to be the consummation of old technological utopias, but rather the backdrop against which the increasingly common climatic, geopolitical, financial, and psychic catastrophes take place.
