El encanto de la crisis

This artist’s book by Isidoro Valcárcel Medina (Murcia, 1937) with a foreword and preliminary study by Carolina Parra (Murcia, 1974) is the result of an analysis of the decade between the fall of Lehman Brothers, the beginning of the global crisis of 2008, which will be eleven years old in September, and the crisis caused by the coronavirus. It arises from the need for a social, political and economic portrait of this decade that has changed world structures through art. We take as our starting date 15 September, the tenth anniversary of the bankruptcy of the American financial services company. Isidoro gives us a perspective from his work of what these years have meant, which have changed the way we live, work and even think.
