The Void

A compilation of Wolfgang H. Scholz’s best works from the 1970s to date. This publication collects the life process of the German artist in his constant search for the meaning of things that move him, in an ongoing process because “each project is a milestone but not the goal.” Illustrated with beautiful images that reflect how movement, time and space are crucial elements in the Scholz’s work, the artist expresses himself throughout multiple disciplines: multimedia performances with dancers, photographic series, video installations, painting, drawing and even documentaries and films that transmit an intense and tragic vision of the reality that surrounds us. Included is a text by Irving Domínguez, curator and critic of Mexican art, and an interview with the artist by Boris Groys, German writer and thinker.
