Retrospective catalogue of Paula Anta’s work published on the occasion of the exhibition at the Centro de Arte de Alcobendas. A Spanish artist and photographer, her work focuses on the relationship between nature and artificiality linked to man-made structures. She is a global traveller who turns her gaze into art. Her photographs are full of poetry and suggest absence but, at the same time, evoke a restless and reflective presence. Her sensitivity is contagious and captivates the viewer. Her photographic language presents a narrative coherence as it is structured in series, made up of women, spaces, landscapes and open or enclosed natures, real or fictitious, maintaining a special interest in nature and the plant world, showing the essence of her elaborate creative process.
