In this second number of our magazine, with 12 pages, we invited other photographers to be part of the project, and became the international platform for photography we wanted to. This number is focused in B&W photography but we wanted to achieve a more poetic meaning in the visual narrative presented in the magazine. Without words the challenge was to achieve a visual flow between the work of the different authors. To balance the hard contrast of a printed B&W photograph, we choose to invert the image and print the light (the white) on Fedrigoni Sirio Ultra Black paper. Adding to the poetry of this kind of print, the technical solution gives it a smooth balance between the different work styles of each author, and the page size provides a wide display for each photograph to be full contemplated.
«This is Paris today and the streets of Paris» is a project by Slim Labidi, a French-Tunisian photographer living and photographing Paris.
