The exchange of correspondence between Joan Miró and Josep Lluís Sert — compiled in its entirety for the first time in this publication — constitutes an essential document for understanding the coincidence of the thoughts of both characters, despite the distance that separated them for most of their careers. The correspondence is complemented by the personal testimony of Miró and Sert through writings, photographs, sketches, architectural plans and press clippings. The letters sent from different places linked in one way or another to their life and work become the common thread in the reconstruction of a shared thought, an unrealized project they always had in mind and that translates into the result of the artistic and architectural work of both.
