In El Naufraguito they praise the mission neclinkes undertake to save civilisation, and they insist on explaining to us what a neckline is and its different varieties, boat neck, scoop, halter, off-shoulder, Queen Anne… With regards to hair, they warn us that it is important to shine without being tacky, and they affirm that in a world without hair, or with sad and dull hair, happiness will be diminished. In THE POISONOUS SKIN they censure clothing as a shield and as a corrosive vector.
And all of this seen through the eyes of the castaway and the uprooted. Always real testimonies.
