ArtsLibris is participating for the first time in the Guadalajara International Book Fair (Jalisco, Mexico), which will take place from 29 November to 7 December 2025 at the Expo Guadalajara Convention Center, with Barcelona as the Guest City of Honour.

For this occasion, the ArtsLibris space features the participation of 23 publishers and is located at stand II2, level 1, within the International Area—one of the most visited sections by both professionals —publishers, rights agents, booksellers, librarians, and distributors— and readers interested in high-quality publications. Situated next to the Catalan Arts stand of the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (Government of Catalonia), the project’s main partner, it also has the support of the Spanish Ministry of Culture.

The Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL Guadalajara) is the most important annual event in the publishing sector in Latin America and the largest Spanish-language book fair in the world.

In this context, ArtsLibris aims to promote Catalan and Spanish artist’s books and photobooks, as well as support the presence of Latin American publishers who are part of its community, opening new international channels for the circulation and visibility of these publications, which until now have had only a limited presence at the Mexican fair.
