Fátima Pecci Carou is a young Argentinean painter and musician, born in Buenos Aires in 1984. She is an activist and member of the Asamblea de Trabajadoras del Arte Nosotras Proponemos in Buenos Aires and participates in different political groups.
Her book Femininjas brings together a series of paintings with this title, which arise as a denunciation of the invisibilisation of women artists in the history of art. It includes texts by the writer and documentary maker Cynthia Castoriano and haikus by the poet Laura Quesada. It contains a sticker sheet inside.
This collection stands out for its diversity of formats and aesthetics, in keeping with the work of each artist.
