La gran majoria dels membres del FCCB es dedicaven a la fotografia per afici\u00f3: passaven els seus dies com a homes de negocis, comptables, periodistes o enginyers, per\u00f2 les seves ambicions art\u00edstiques eren considerables i la seva obra destaca al costat de les experimentacions contempor\u00e0nies m\u00e9s conegudes. Els Bandeirantes van exercir un paper destacat en el circuit internacional de clubs fotogr\u00e0fics en les d\u00e8cades seg\u00fcents. Encara que les seves imatges van ser premiades en sis continents, avui s\u00f3n pr\u00e0cticament desconegudes per al p\u00fablic europeu i nord-americ\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Les 140 plaques de trit\u00f3 de <em>Fotoclubismo<\/em> capturen fidelment les impactants declaracions fotogr\u00e0fiques de la FCCB. Situant a la FCCB dins l&#8217;escena art\u00edstica m\u00e9s \u00e0mplia del Brasil de la postguerra, aix\u00ed com dins d&#8217;una din\u00e0mica xarxa de fot\u00f2grafs de tot el m\u00f3n, la comiss\u00e0ria Sarah Hermanson Meister ens desafia a confrontar els nostres prejudicis est\u00e8tics i a reconsiderar les nostres actituds cap a l&#8217;aficionat.
