Since 1966 the European Institute of Design has been running courses in design, fashion, visual arts, communication and management at its centres in Milan, Turin, Venice, Madrid, Barcelona, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
Opened in 2002, the IED Barcelona centre has established itself as one of the foremost in its field, earning official Higher Design School (Escuela Superior de Diseño) status. Attracting almost 1000 students from more than 80 countries every year,
it offers official degrees in Product Design, Interior Design, Fashion and Graphic Design, as well as its own qualifications (IED Diplomas), BA (Hons) courses accredited by the University of Westminster, Master’s degrees and specialisation and summer courses.
