El Naufraguito
El Naufraguito is the Official Gazette of Isla Naufragio, or Castaway Island. It contains writing by castaways who, landing on the island, all hope lost and all at sea, undertake to set down their ravings and fears. What they had is now gone, what they were so awaiting and longed for is no more. These poor, battle-weary castaways have lost it all and now all that they have left is sarcasm: the last resort of the defeated.
