At the core of the work of the publishing project CRANI lies a collection of books with a common denominator: each edition has been exclusively conceived and created for publication in this format – in other words, on paper – and does not exist in any other physical medium. Rather than individual or collective catalogues of existing works or studies of working processes, each edition is a genuine work of art in the form of a book. Artist’s editions play an essential role in enabling us to contemplate and grasp the developments, achievements and contemporary thought practised and incorporated by each creator.
