handcrafts. Our recently acquired collection of wood type and proofing presses have inspired our interest in letterpress and the use of letterpress within contemporary design. It is a medium, which allows us to consider the messages and communication which have been previously passed through the press and how this narrative can be communicated through the format and sequence of books, experimental binding techniques and structures.

Moreno&Soria is a team formed by Lídia Moreno (bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, she teaches at the Manresa Art School) and José Antonio Soria (a photographer and illustrator, he works as a video producer at the CCCB). The Pere Mitjans Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation devoted to caring for people with physical, intellectual and sensory disabilities.
Its objective is to provide the technical and human resources to disabled people and their families with the technical and human resources they need to develop their life project in an inclusive, fair and supportive society as fully entitled citizens.
To celebrate the Foundation’s 35th anniversary, we are presenting the edition of an author’s book titled “SENTITS” (“SENSES”), which includes signed reproductions of original graphic art works by prestigious local artists and works by some of our users, along with 10 poems contributed by top-tier writers.

I am presenting a PU edition of the L’anhel creatiu, entre la realitat i el desig project in book format. The technical procedure used in this work, screen printing, makes expansive work possible – at the same time images and thoughts are recorded, they are transformed, mutating and contaminating each other so that the creative flow, instead of being stemmed, is broadened and the work acquires new, more complex meanings and content. It is hence a work with no closure, as the process continues to expand through appropriation by the group on which authorship is diluted.
